Foxall says the rising number of Europeans calling London their home and the growth in high net worth, internationally mobile individuals looking for cross border advice plays to the strengths of the life insurance firm, which has been around since 1992.
He says IWI aims to target financial advisers who have clients in need of specialised cross-border technical, legal and tax experts in such places as France and Italy and will soon offer expertise on Portugal.
The business strategy will focus on IFA’s with UK resident non-dom clients as well as private bankers, legal firms and the big international tax practices, he says.
