London-headquartered investment firm unveils Cayman Islands offering

Following demand for its services in the region

|

London-headquartered investment firm Floreat Group has launched a Cayman Islands-based service from its office in Camana Bay.

The Cayman office will provide private office investment services to ultra-high-net worth (UHNW) individuals and families globally.

Floreat, which was founded in 2006, said that the launch of the new offering follows a period of growth for the firm and addresses demand in the region.

The Cayman office, led by Clive Thomas, with Billy Harty leading the investment team, will work closely with the London office to provide bespoke access to a range of private-office services.

New hires and a returner

Thomas returns to Floreat after four years as a partner at legal and professional-services firm Walkers Global. Harty joined from Cayman Islands-based RBC Dominion Securities, where he worked as an investment adviser.

Thomas and Harty are joined by investment manager Matt Ellis, who joins from Northview Services, where he was investment associate.

Mutaz Otaibi, chief executive of Floreat Group, said: “In the changing landscape of wealth management, we believe it is key that businesses are global and can deliver the high standard of specialised services that UHNW clients demand.

“Clive and Billy are well-placed to kickstart the next level of Floreat’s growth.”
