Based in Paris, Thierry-Wilkinson will be advising and developing relationships with wealthy individuals and families in France.

The role is a new one and it reflects "growing business" needs, a spokesperson for J.P Morgan said.

Thierry-Wilkinson will report to Jean-Baptiste Douin, the head of J.P. Morgan Private Bank (France).

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Thierry-Wilkinson was a private banker at Neuflize OBC (ABN AMRO Group), where she focused on family businesses and entrepreneurial clients.

She also held a similar role at Paribas for three years.
