Colin Jelley has left Skandia after spending only 10 months in his second stint at the company.

Jelley, who was head of wealth planning at Skandia, first left the company in December 2010 to take a position at UK advisory firm St James’s Place.

However, after 18 months at St James’s Place, Jelley returned to Skandia where he was tasked with building the firm’s team of wealth planning specialists.

A spokesperson confirmed Jelley’s departure “by mutual consent” from the company and said that responsibility for managing the 10-strong wealth planning team will be handed to Nigel Jeffries, head of strategic relationships.
