The insurer’s existing office in the DIFC, which has been licensed since 2014, has been used to distribute its savings and investment products via a third party distribution network in the region.
Investors Trust said that “due to phenomenal growth” it has expanded its presence in the DIFC by moving to a bigger office and increasing the number of staff.
Philip Story, head of distribution at the firm, said: “This new office in Currency House, in the DIFC, will enable us to further support the growth of our international business model.
“The new staff we have on board and the new office space will provide us with an excellent base for regional expansion into the fast-growing markets of the region.”
