Recardo worked at IFS for more than 12 years, first in Singapore, then more latterly in Qatar as CEO, where he obtained for the company one of the very first licences to trade in Qatar.
Recardo will be joining the company as an “out-of-office” or network adviser where he will have full ownership of his own client bank and independence, but with the support of AES.
“Mark has recognised that AES offers a very trusted proposition for entrepreneurial and professional advisers,” said AES chief executive Sam Instone.
“I am confident his practice will be a huge success and that he will play an important part in helping us promote positive change and transforming our industry into a profession.”
