The company said the new product “retains many of the features already offered by existing Hansard savings products” but has a number of key changes, including the removal of the bid/offer spread on unit funds, a reduced monthly service charge and 100% allocation to units on contributions over £500/€600 per month.
Other features of Vantage include:
- The opportunity of up to 600% allocation on the first contribution;
- The choice of both life assurance and capital redemption versions from Hansard International;
- The flexibility to change contributions, take contribution holidays and make ad hoc withdrawals; and
- Availability in most major currencies.
Hansard said the launch follows consultation with leading independent financial advisers in its key markets in Europe, the Far East and Latin America.
Joe Kanarek, chief distribution officer of Hansard Global, said: “Vantage has been developed specifically to provide international clients with an affordable and flexible savings product with access to a wide range of funds from major fund houses such as BlackRock, HSBC and JP Morgan.
“In addition, clients and advisers benefit from access to Hansard Online which boasts a range of facilities including online submission and online switching, and access to policy valuations and a wealth of fund tools and information using Hansard’s unit fund centre.”
