Iain Howell, brother of David Howell, joined the group on 6 July. Working from the Guardian’s Doncaster headquarters, he has taken responsibility for the group’s financial operations as it looks to push into new countries.
Iain Howell joined the company from electronics company Sharp, where he was the director of finance. Prior to joining Sharp, he was industrial division controller with engineering group Kidde, overseeing 24 subsidiary divisions in the US, South America, Europe and Asia.
