The company confirmed Ferguson had left the company but said it was unsure what his plans were for the future.
Guardian Wealth Management chief executive David Howell told International Adviser he was “sorry to lose him”, but “wished him well for the future”.
Ferguson had worked at Guardian for around four years, having joined from PIC – part of the deVere Group – in 2010.
Guardian said it had not yet decided on a replacement, and would be looking both externally and internally to fill the position.
