Financial services group completes double IFA swoop

Company wants to make further strategic acquisitions as part of its buy and build strategy

Global advice and professional services firm Fusion Consulting Group has acquired Barnet-based Prosperity Wealth Creation and a client book of an unnamed IFA for undisclosed sums.

This comes months after received a funding package from lender growth finance solution provider SME Capital. The financial terms of the fundraise were not disclosed, but SME Capital’s website says it provides funding of £500,000 to £5m ($6.2m, €5.7m).

Fusion Financial said it is “keen to continue to grow its assets under advice this year by bolting on further strategic acquisitions as part of its buy and build strategy”.

Adam Maurice, director of Fusion, said: “We are pleased to be welcoming Neil Jacobs to the Fusion Financial team where he will continue to provide excellent financial advisory to both his own clients and the wider Fusion client base. Having known Neil for many years, I am delighted to be welcoming him to the Fusion family.”

Fusion was founded in 2015 by Mitch Young and Maurice to provide tax services, accountancy, financial and legal services, digital marketing and business advice to private clients, entrepreneurs and SMEs.
