The Federation of European IFAs (Feifa) has launched its environmental, social and governance (ESG) platform.
At the same, it has partnered with Haymarket Capital, the exclusive distributor of the Hanson Sustainable Income Fund (HSIF).
The relationship with Feifa members will be headed up by Hugh Beaumont at Haymarket.
Platform
Paul Stanfield, Feifa chief executive, said: “This purpose-built platform is exclusive to our members, providing them with a market-leading resource in an increasingly important sphere.
“Our ESG platform provides a variety of benefits and facilities for our members. There is a section that collates all relevant regulatory information, thus enabling them to easily find whatever they need to know about the forthcoming requirements, particularly those that will impact them.
“A third-party section provides legal and expert analysis of all pertinent aspects, whilst a video and podcasts area creates easy access to a range of visual services.
“Finally, the products and services section contains excellent content from our relevant partner companies. Everything from analyses of regulations and terminology, and helpful questionnaires for advisers to use with clients, to investment philosophy and specific strategy and fund details are readily available.”
Haymarket Capital
Haymarket’s Beaumont said that the HSIF fund aims to deliver a 4+% yield per annum by investing in companies that will provide capital growth over the medium to long term.
“It invests in companies that have embraced sustainability in the areas of ESG because Arlington Capital, the fund’s investment manager, believes that these companies will deliver enhanced returns over the longer term,” he said.
“The fund is a Ucits V fund and available across bond, pension, and investment platforms – thus highly accessible to Feifa members and their clients.”
Stanfield added: “The affiliation with Haymarket has come about separately but is very aptly timed and fits in very well with our goal of assisting our member advisers as widely as possible with all aspects of ‘sustainability’, as it pertains to their roles.”
In December 2020, Feifa renewed its partnership with wealth management company LGT Vestra.
