Philip Norman, who has been with the business for 16 years, has been appointed chief commercial officer and promoted to the company’s board.

Simon Mackenzie, who joined the firm in 2002, will take over from Norman as head of Elian corporate services. Mackenzie has extensive experience in the administration of complex corporate owned structures; both onshore and offshore.

Paul Willing, CEO of Elian, commented: “We have had an exciting first year as Elian. We have expanded our footprint in North America and continental Europe with our new office in New York and with the acquisition of SFM Europe. We have very exciting growth plans and Philip’s team will be vital in helping us expand and grow the business in new markets and geographies.

“Simon is a highly skilled and respected corporate services professional and the ideal person to lead Elian Corporate Services as it continues to develop its global platform. These strategic appointments allow us to continue our relentless pursuit of client service excellence and provide Elian with the leadership to take the business to the next phase of its development,” Willing added.

Elian was launched in September 2014 following a management buyout from Ogier Group.
