International financial advisory firm Dunhill Financial has rolled out a robo-adviser for affluent American expats.

DF Direct is currently only accepting people that hold a US address, but the firm told International Adviser this is only for the Alpha release, as foreign addresses will be accepted within the next few months.

The tool will not require a minimum investment and they can contribute to their portfolios either monthly or with a $20,000 (£14,500, €17,000) lump sum, with fees based on account balance of 0.5% a year.

There are also other features Dunhill intends to add to the services in the near future and they include:

  • Support for multiple European countries;
  • Deposits in euros and pounds;
  • Currency toggle to view investments in the client’s native currency; and,
  • Financial planning tools.
