The announcement was made on Wednesday morning at GWM’s group annual general meeting.
Coady, who recently left deVere UK after 12 years with the Group, will be tasked with “driving the global expansion of the GWM Group, as the company builds upon its position as one of the leading expatriate financial advisory organisations”, the company said in a statement.
He will “focus on increasing market share through both the expansion and ability of existing offices and through the opening of additional regions, new brands and the development of further technology supported distribution channels”, it said.
Coady said: “I genuinely am very excited about this partnership.
