Featherby, who will leave the company with immediate effect, has been with deVere for around 10 years and has taken the decision to leave after being diagnosed with “a number of health related problems”, according to the company.
DeVere chief executive Nigel Green said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Craig for the great work he has done in leading deVere Group in Africa, and leaving the Company in a position for growth in the very near future. We wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”
DeVere said an on-going process is taking place to identity a successor and that “relevant notifications will be made to the appropriate authorities”.
It is understood that Featherby is planning to start his own business in South Africa.
