Schoeppl-Jost, who replaces Melbourne-based Chris Siniakov, was previously a CIO with BEA Union Investment in Hong Kong.
At Deutsche, she is responsible for leading the fund house's active equity, fixed income and multi-asset investment teams across Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong and Singapore, she reports to Sean Taylor, head of emerging market equities, and regionally to Ravi Raju, head of DeAWM in Asia Pacific.
With 15 years of experience in the asset management industry, she has also worked as a senior portfolio manager for Union Investment in Germany, while she began her investment career with Volksbank Investments in Vienna, Austria.
Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management manages assets worth €934bn ($1273.43bn, £776.49bn) as of September 30.
