Since the beginning of July she has been chief executive of the Medical Specialist Group, a St Martin’s, Guernsey-based medical services company.
A spokesperson for Generali International said Guillou will not be directly replaced. Instead, he said, Giorgio Daboni, the chief executive of Generali Worldwide and Generali International, and his executive management team will oversee the affairs of both companies.
Guillou, whose until recently went by the last name of Le Noury, started her career with Fairbairn International as an accountant, in the early 1990s. She then worked in finance at Guernsey Electricity and Investec Asset Management before being named chief financial officer at Generali Worldwide in 2004.
