Chris Albert is the firm’s new sales director and is joined by Rob Bennett and Jasper Walshe as business development managers.

Albert joins from Equiom Trust (Isle of Man) where he was a business development director, prior to which he was an investment director at Kleinwort Benson (Jersey). CSWM has operations in both jurisdictions as well as London, Guernsey and Geneva.

Bennett left Towry Law where he was wealth adviser, while Walshe was recruited from his role as a private banker with Anglo Irish Bank.

In a recent interview with our sister publication Portfolio Adviser (see pages 25 and 26 of July’s issue), chief executive of CSWM Neil Darke explained his firm’s overall business is moving closer to 50:50 from 60:40 between offshore and onshore holdings, helped in part through its recent acquisition of Andersen Charnley, a more holistic private client wealth manager based in London and Surrey.

Andersen Charnley was recently rebranded as the 360° Service from CSWM that brings together financial planning and investment expertise.
