Borsellino, who takes up his new position on 24 June, joined Generali Investments in 2008 as head of equities.
Generali Investments Europe is one of the largest fund managers in Europe, with assets under management in excess of €320bn. It is part of the Italian Generali Group which itself is one of Europe’s largest insurance providers and claims to be Europe’s biggest life insurer with its 2012 total premium income having hit €70bn.
