The company, which rebranded as Canaccord Genuity WM from Collins Stewart Wealth Management at the beginning of May, said in the newly created position, Colclough will be responsible for the portfolio management and client servicing teams. He will work closely with the company’s other wealth management teams in based in Geneva, the Isle of Man, Jersey and London.
Colclough joined the business in 2009 as senior investment manager in the wealth management division to provide discretionary portfolio management services to institutions, intermediaries and high net worth private clients.
Canadian brokerage Canaccord announced in December 2011 its plans to buy Collins Stewart Hawkpoint, the ultimate owner of the Channel Island based Collins Stewart Wealth Management business, for around £250m.
