Trireme’s Voyager Retirement Plan will now be available as part of Brooklands’ product range, following the latter’s launch of a Gibraltar QROPS last week.

The Voyager scheme costs £800 to set up and also has an annual fee of £800.

Brooklands chief executive Paul Evans said the new partnership comes during an “exciting phase” for international retirement planning, driven by the upcoming pension reforms announced in this year’s Budget.

He added that the company expects to make further announcements in the near future.

Trireme, which offers a range of international pension products including schemes for UK and other EU registered pension transfers, said the partnership forms part of its developing network of introducers.

Last week, Brooklands launched its Retirement Annuity Trust, a Gibraltar QROPS which includes a lite option.

The product was launched through Brooklands Trustees (Gibraltar), the company it has established in the jurisdiction, alongside the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

Earlier this week, fellow QROPS provider Concept announced its return to the QROPS market with the launch of the Gibraltar-domiciled Aurora Europa Pensions Trust and Aurora Europa Pensions Contract.

The news marked the Guernsey-based company’s first launch since its product range was effectively wiped out by HM Revenue & Custom’s delisting of all but three of Guernsey’s QROPS schemes in April 2012.
