BNP Paribas Investment Partners names new CEO for Hong Kong

BNP Paribas Investment Partners appoints Jean Audibert as chief executive officer for Hong Kong.

Audibert is currently deputy chief executive officer for Asia Pacific and will assume additional duties in his new role as Hong Kong country head while continuing his regional duties.

He started  his investment career in the 1970s with a number of overseas positions. Prior to becoming deputy CEO, he held the role of president of New Markets Asia, Hong Kong, overseeing business development for BNPP IP’s joint venture operations in Korea, China and India.

From 2005 to 2008, he was chairman of the board and representative director of Shinhan BNP Paribas Investment Trust Management Company.

Stewart Edgar, chief executive officer of Asia Pacific, BNPP IP, praised the new appointment and paid tribute to outgoing Trouillard-Perrot.

“I am delighted that Jean has added Hong Kong to his existing responsibilities within the region. Further, I wish to thank Vincent for his contribution to BNPP IP in Asia and wish him well in his new role for us in the Nordic region as CEO of Alfred Berg.”
