Bill Blevins, co-founder of advice group Blevins Franks, has died after suffering with a long-term illness.
He worked closely with David Franks to form Blevins Franks in the UK in 1975. The duo then expanded the company to offer services across Europe including Spain and Portugal.
They sold the company in 2012 to retire.
A Blevins Franks spokesperson said in regional newswire Portugal Resident: “His lively personality, insight and generosity made a big impact on staff and clients alike.
“He will be sadly missed by all at Blevins Franks and many clients and business partners who met him over the years.
“The sympathies of all Bill’s colleagues at Blevins Franks are with his wife and family at this sad time.”
