“Just last month the announcement of Aegon’s intention to partner with the British Business Bank highlights our capabilities, as we offer workplace savers access to innovative investment opportunities that have previously been not possible via DC pensions.”
Roy added: “I’m honoured to take on this new role. Leading our workplace business – with an ambitious and customer focused team around me – over the past year has been highly rewarding as we’ve surpassed so many targets. The propositional delivery over the past 12 months alone has been substantial.
“Our award-winning collaboration with The Pension Lab delivering an innovative solution to workplace members to help them track down and compare old pots, the significant enhancements to our Member Insights for employers helping them better understand their employees’ savings needs, and of course the ongoing digital enhancements to the customer experience has moved our offering into a premier position.”
