Dunhill Financial has recruited Matthew Watson from Raymond James to head up its first US branch in St. Augustine, Florida.

Watson comes to Dunhill Financial after spending the last five years at Raymond James. He has also worked at UBS, Suntrust and A.G. Edwards, where he worked alongside founder Brian Dunhill.

The new division is aimed at expats moving to the US and returning US citizens.

“This has been a growing segment of clients at our firm and opening a US office will allow us to better serve these clients,” said Brian Dunhill.

“Having a highly experienced individual that we can trust and that will be able to hit the ground running will give us the opportunity to continue to expand our services.”

Dunhill Financial is an international firm offering fee-based planning and wealth management solutions to primarily but not exclusively English-speaking expatriates.

Dunhill is an associate of the OpesFidelio network authorised to provide investment and insurance advice based in the EEA.

The firm offers life assurance, insurance-based investments and investment advice. It specialises in US citizens, international institution employees and expatriates within Europe.
