Fixed income CIO Lespinard, who is also the manager of Schroders’ global multi-strategy team, is to take over responsibility for the UK and Euro Aggregate portfolios.
Sparks, head of US fixed income, will continue as co-fund manager on the Global Credit portfolios with an expanded remit covering asset allocation as well as his existing focus on the strategy’s US component.
Sparks is now manager of the Schroder ISF Global Credit Duration Hedged Fund and the Schroder ISF Global Corporate Bond Fund, while Lespinard will take over as manager of the Schroder ISF Euro Short Term Bond, ISF Euro Bond, Special Situations Fund Sterling Broad Market Libor and Institutional Sterling Broad Market funds in light of Stuttard’s departure.
“This change will allow us to leverage a more consistent investment process across our fixed income multi-strategy and credit portfolios,” says Karl Dasher, global head of fixed income at Schroders.
The firm said Stuttard is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
