Noon, who has spent seven years with RL360° in Asia, will take over from James Parsons, who was recently appointed head of sales at Ardan International, the RL360 Group’s newly acquired wealth platform.

The Ardan deal was announced last November, with RL360° chief executive David Kneeshaw explaining it will form an integral part of the life insurer’s international strategy.

Originally from the Isle of Man, Noon first worked in Kuala Lumpur before moving on to the Asia sales team in Bangkok.

Noon has 13 years’ experience in financial services and prior to joining RL360° in 2009 worked for Alliance and Leicester and Standard Bank.

“Steve brings with him an invaluable amount of experience of developing and maintaining opportunities in Asia,” said Middle East head of sales Stuart Shilcock.

“We are really excited about the move and know Steve will excel at building on the already strong relationships James has forged in the region.”

Regular premium growth

Last week, Isle of Man-based RL360° reported a spike in new business growth of 11% in 2016, driven strong sales of regular premium plans in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Earlier this year, the life insurer launched Quantum Malaysia, a country-specific version of its regular premium savings plan and RL360° first product in Malaysia.
