The wealth management and professional services group has appointed Paul Geddes as chief executive.
Geddes will succeed Chris Woodhouse, who is retiring from full-time executive management after dedicating over five and half years to the role.
He will join the business on 3 July from QA Group, where he has been chief executive since 2019. QA is a leading provider of higher education and workforce learning programmes and services and is owned by CVC Capital Partners.
Globaleye
The advice group has named Peter Shaw as director of wealth planning, according to his Linkedin profile.
Shaw was previously a senior wealth manager at Hoxton Capital Management.
M&G
Clare Bousfield, chief executive of the firm’s retail and savings arm, has announced she will step down from the business in the autumn.
She will remain in role until the autumn to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
The firm will now create two new chief executive roles to lead its wealth and life insurance businesses.
Hargreaves Lansdown
Lee Gardhouse will leave the firm to “pursue new challenges” following the appointment of former Brown Shipley investment head Toby Vaughan as chief investment officer.
Gardhouse leaves after 28 years at Hargreaves Lansdown. Having joined in 1995, he became investment director in 2006, taking charge of the firm’s multi-manager funds and portfolio management service. He was made the firm’s chief investment officer in 2016.
Hargreaves made no formal statement regarding his departure, adding only that he will leave at the end of June to allow for a smooth handover to Vaughan.
Vaughan joined on 31 May, and has been made responsible for Hargreaves Lansdown’s fund management business.
Royal London
The life insurance firm has appointed Jon Fuller as head of specialist protection distribution to lead the newly created specialist protection team.
Fuller joins from Aegon UK, where he was protection sales director.
Square Mile
The investment consultancy and research firm has appointed Mark Hinton as an equity fund research manager.
He joins Square Mile having previously worked at Allfunds, where he was head of equity fund research covering European, UK and global equity funds.
IQ-EQ
The financial services provider has named Patrik Marti as managing director of IQ-EQ Switzerland.
Marti was previously at Credit Suisse, where he managing director and was responsible for fund management companies in Switzerland and Luxembourg and for fund services from Ireland within the asset servicing department.
