The UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) has launched a database allowing investors to search for advisers and wealth managers that are signed up to its code of conduct.

Launching on Good Money Week, UKSIF said the database is for the retail audience that are regularly accessing its website looking for advisers that can help with managing their money in a sustainable way.

The Find an Adviser/Wealth Manager online directory allows users to search by region and provides the contact details of financial advisers and wealth managers across the UK.

The new code of conduct means they are committed to the usual fulfilling of financial planning needs of clients to the best of their ability, but also continually improve their knowledge with particular emphasis on sustainable, responsible and ethical investment and broader ESG issues.

James Alexander, chief executive of UKSIF, said: “As part of UKSIF’s Good Money Week, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Find an Adviser feature, a sustainability-focused online directory listing those financial adviser and wealth manager members that have made a commitment to provide effective advice to clients on sustainability issues.

“This directory will be a useful starting point for those retail savers who are increasingly looking to identify advisers committed to sustainability. We encourage any members interested in having their organisations listed to get in touch with UKSIF.”
