Credit Suisse
Ulrich Korner has been promoted to group chief executive effective from 1 August 2022.
He will take over from Thomas Gottstein, who is resigning after 23 years at the firm.
Korner joined Credit Suisse in April 2021 as chief executive of asset management from UBS, where he served in the group executive board for 11 years, including six leading the asset management division.
Investec
The investment firm has made several changes to its c-suite and executive board.
Barbara-Ann King has been promoted to chief executive of Investec Wealth & Investments UK.
She will take over from Ciaran Whelan, who has been in the job since April 2020. King joined the business in October 2020 as chief commercial officer. Her appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Marc Kahn, former global head of people and organisation, will take on the newly created role of chief strategy officer.
Additionally, Lesley-Anne Gatter, current head of people and organisation in South Africa, will succeed Kahn and join the group executive committee.
Indosuez Wealth Management
The Credit Agricole wealth management subsidiary has named Anne Toledano as global head of real estate.
She will be based in Paris and be tasked with the creation of a complete range of real estate investment, advisory and financing solutions for the firm’s clients around the world.
Toledano joined Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank in 2004 as head of real estate financing in Paris. Then, in 2013 she moved to London as head of the bank’s real estate activities until 2018, when she returned to Paris to serve as a senior banker.

The UK investment platform has bolstered its investment research team
Darren Nathan will become head of equity research and Hal Cook joins as a senior investment analyst.
Nathan was previously director of research at Hybridan, while Cook used to oversee fund selection and monitoring for Mercer’s private wealth discretionary management service.
Candriam
Richard Briggs will take on the role of senior portfolio manager within the emerging markets debt team at the asset manager, effective from October 2022.
He will join from Gam Investments, where he works as an emerging market sovereign credit investment manager.
Liontrust
The asset manager’s economic advantage team has hired Natalie Bell as a fund manager.
She will focus on the selection and daily management of small and micro caps funds.
Bell is currently at Liontrust, where she has led engagement and investee companies within the responsible capitalism team since February 2021.
True Bearing
The UK-based IFA firm has promoted Lisa Govier to business improvement director, effective immediately.
She will lead the newly formed department and speed up the company’s growth plans in the UK.
Govier joined in May 2021 as growth project manager.
