US in the news: JTC hires director of business development

JTC

The financial services firm has hired Marcel Imery as director of business development based in New York.

He will help drive growth across the US and Latin American markets.

Imery was an adviser of tax and strategic planning at Lega Abogados.

Raymond James

The wealth firm has hired financial advisers Martin Ferrara, James Helton Jr, Justin Preissler and James McGee to its offices in Augusta, Georgia.

The advisers join from Wells Fargo Advisors.

Together, they operate as Cypress Wealth Group of Raymond James.

Adams Street Partners

The investment management firm has named Yohan Hill as director of ESG and responsible investing. Adams Street is a long-time practitioner of responsible investing.

Prior to joining Adams Street Partners, Hill served as manager of ESG innovation and analytics at S&P Global Trucost.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management

The wealth firm has expanded its Denver office with three additions including Marie Dawson as senior fiduciary specialist, Steve Starzec as client strategist and Matt McConaty as associate client strategist.

Dawson most recently served in the BNY Mellon WM Las Vegas office as senior wealth manager – fiduciary specialist.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, he held various leadership roles including the Boulder regional manager at MidFirst Private Wealth Management.

McConaty joins from Heartland Financial USA, where he served as a portfolio manager.

Elsewhere, BNY Mellon Wealth Management has named Camille Alexander as head of sales and investor solutions, a newly created role.

Alexander was previously regional president of the DC area.

She will be replaced by Karen Wawrzaszek, who joins BNY Mellon Wealth Management from SBSB Financial Advisors.

Southeastern Trust

Christopher Haigler has been named trust officer for the boutique wealth management firm.

Prior to joining Southeastern Trust, Haigler spent 11 years in the private wealth management divisions of Wells Fargo and Bank of America.

Snowden Lane Partners

The independent wealth advisory firm has hired the Oliveira, Silva & Mogro (OSM) Group to its New York headquarters.

The group is comprised of:

  • Joe Oliveira, senior partner, managing director;
  • Jorge Silva, senior partner, managing director;
  • Jessy Mogro, partner, managing director; and
  • Ana Paula O’Keefe, senior registered client relationship manager.

They joined from Wells Fargo.
