US in the news: Wealth manager hires VP from BNY Mellon

Fiduciary Trust

The wealth manager has hired Colleen Bartling as vice president and investment officer.

Bartling joins Fiduciary Trust from BNY Mellon, where she was a vice president and senior wealth manager.

Pimco

The investment management firm has named Patrick Feigley as managing director and head of US global wealth management sales.

He is also head of Pimco’s Austin office.

Prior to joining Pimco in 2010, Feigley was with Nuveen Investments for 11 years, most recently as managing director and national sales manager.

Amerprise Financial

The wealth firm has hired financial adviser Robert Bacino to join its Bedminster, New Jersey office.

Bacino has made the switch from managing his own independent registered investment adviser (RIA) firm.

His team, called Insight Financial Advisors, was established in 2004 and manages $275m (£220m, €253m) in assets.

Insight Financial Advisors is made up of adviser Shelley Nord and client service associates Sharon Faas and Alison Hosler.

The team is supported locally by Ameriprise branch manager Eric Carlson.

Raymond James Financial Services

The independent broker-dealer has hired advisers Deborah Juran in Monterey; David Colley and Jim Mills-Winkler in Long Beach; and Rod Smith in Newport Beach, California.

Juran is the founder of Juran Wealth Management and brings more than 40 years of financial services experience, having worked at Morgan Stanley and most recently RBC.

She runs the firm with financial adviser Melissa Paddock and client service manager Jocelyn Galvan. The team previously managed $150m in client assets.

Colley and Mills-Winkler both join from Waddell & Reed.

The two, who operated separate practices while at Waddell & Reed, independently joined an existing Raymond James Financial Services-affiliated office, Crux Wealth Advisors (CWA).

Collectively, Colley and Mills-Winkler previously managed approximately $235m in client assets.

Joining Colley are team members and financial advisers Ken Newberry, Deana Dyjor, David Tamashiro and Dane Gambill.

M&A

Creative Planning

US-based registered investment adviser has bought Coe Financial Services, an RIA firm located in Wichita, Kansas.

Coe Financial Services provides financial planning and investment management for clients with approximately $126m in assets under management.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
