Adviser software developer creates online community group

In a bid to keep people in the industry collaborating amid issues arising with covid-19

Advicefront has unveiled a social networking group to allow advisers to share knowledge, discuss topics and keep spirits high during the coronavirus lockdown.

This comes a week after the firm decided to make software free to all new and existing users to aid remote working.

It has created a Slack group called Advicecrowd to allow people to help each other out and collectively move the industry forward.

Andre Costa, co-founder of Advicefront, said: “As the much-needed homeworking continues, we’ve seen some massive gestures of support from our friends in the financial advice community and a real openness about the impact this situation could have on people’s mental health and wellbeing at this tricky time.

“On behalf of the entire Advicefront family, we hope you find the same kind of solace in connecting with other like-minded advice professionals.”
