Shackleton has acquired Norfolk-based advice firm Harrold Financial Planning (HFP).

The takeover brings in around £300m of assets under management and takes the number of deals that the group has completed since 2021 to sixteen.

The firm said the deal expands its presence to the East of England as it seeks to accelerate nationwide.

Headquartered in London and launched in December 2024, Shackleton is a group of firms brought together through strategic acquisitions and includes co-founder Skerritts.

Paul Feeney, CEO, said: “I am delighted to welcome the talented team at HFP to the Shackleton Group. This acquisition expands our presence into the east of England and aligns perfectly with our goal of being Britain’s financial adviser.”

Neil Warne, a managing director of HFP, added: “We spent significant time evaluating companies that would complement our ethos and ensure we are able to continue offering a comprehensive range of services to our clients.

“Joining Shackleton allows us to provide the added resources and benefits that come with being part of a larger group.
