PEOPLE MOVES: Evelyn Partners, Aegon, Quilter Cheviot, the CISI, Jupiter AM

Associate director added to London financial planning team

Evelyn Partners 

The wealth management firm has appointed Mimi Corden-Lloyd as an as associate director in the London financial planning team.

She joins from Coutts private bank and will work from the firm’s Gresham Street offices as part of the 65-strong financial planning team in the capital. 

Corden-Lloyd spent more than two years at Coutts, where she was most recently associate director in the sports, media and entertainment wealth management team. 

Aegon 

The company has appointed Nick Roy as commercial director, a newly-created senior leadership role within the business.  

Roy has been with Aegon for over 20 years and has held several senior roles, most recently as director, client and partnership development.

He will continue to lead the workplace channel and drive the growth of the DC business, reporting to chief distribution officer, Ronnie Taylor. 

Quilter Cheviot

The wealth manager has appointed head of investment fund research Nick Wood as the new head of regional offices, as Richard Thorn retires from the role.

Thorn leaves Quilter Cheviot after nearly four decades with the business. He will work alongside Wood for the first quarter of the year to transition the role.

Wood has worked at Quilter Cheviot since 2012, overseeing the fund research team and fund selection process. He previously held analyst roles at Stamford Associates and Capital International. In his new role, he will head the business for the regional private client investment management teams.

The CISI

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has appointed James Morris as CISI Ireland country head.

Morris joins the CISI from Dublin-based StoneX Group Inc, where he was responsible for clearing, execution and sales. Prior to this he worked with Crux Shipbrokers in Dublin and MINT Partners in Singapore and Dubai.

He will be responsible for CISI Ireland and Northern Ireland client relationships operating from Dublin and takes over from Deirdre Lawson.

Jupiter Asset Management 

The firm has hired Selina Tyler as head of UK from spring 2025.

Tyler is currently head of UK wholesale at Lombard Odier Investment Managers, having previously held senior roles at Mirabaud Asset Management and Federated Hermes.

John Morrison will continue as interim head of UK until Tyler joins, when he will resume his role as deputy head of UK.
