Irwin Mitchell

Irwin Mitchell’s financial planning business IM Asset Management has appointed Stewart Sanderson as its new chief executive.

He replaces the retiring Richard Potts, subject to regulatory approvals.

Sanderson joins from Brooks Macdonald, where he was a senior director who led the UK private client proposition advising key clients.

He has over 25 years’ experience in wealth management gained at firms including Seven Investment Management, Lloyds Private Banking and Coutts & Co. He has also developed and led other private client businesses across London, Edinburgh, and Jersey.

RBC Brewin Dolphin

The wealth manger has appointed Ian Kloss as head of intermediary sales.

He reports to Antony Champion, head of intermediaries. Kloss was previously head of nationals, networks and international distribution.

Kloss has held senior positions at HSBC and Quilter International in Singapore. He takes over from Lucie Gordon, who has been appointed managing director, head of northern region.

Titan Private Wealth

The firm has named Matt Beddall as joint chief executive alongside Mark Puleikis. In this new role he will help guide the overall strategic direction and lead the company through its next phase of growth.

He joins Titan from Investec Wealth & Investment, where he was divisional director and head of the Sheffield office. At Investec, Beddall worked his way up from trainee to director over 25 years. He brings experience of leadership and management responsibilities, as well as hands-on experience managing a range of client types, including private clients, charities, defined benefit pension schemes and financial mutuals.

Beddall will be based  in the firm’s Harrogate office. The appointment is subject to FCA approval.

Schroders Capital

The firm has appointed Intermediate Capital Group’s Ingo Heinen into the newly-created role of global head of business development and product.

Heinen served as ICG’s head of marketing and client relations for EMEA for over two years, and before this role spent over a decade at BlackRock. He also gained experience with RBS, Nomura and Merrill Lynch.

Georg Wunderlin, global head of private assets at Schroders Capital, said: “Ingo’s hire marks an important milestone, underpinning Schroders Capital’s growth ambitions in private markets as we aim to deliver the best investment solutions for our clients across the world.”

Lombard Odier IM

The investment manger has bolstered its sustainability team with the hire of Mona Shah, Stonehage Fleming’s head of sustainable investments.

She takes up the role of senior sustainability strategist in April and will be based in the firm’s London office.

The move follows the firm’s launch of Holistiq Investment Partners last year – a sustainable investment platform that invests across asset classes in the transition to a green economy.

In her new role, Shah will be responsible for developing sustainable investment solutions for clients, in close collaboration with LOIM’s Holistiq sustainability research and investment teams.
