DWS Group

Asset manager DWS Group has expanded its range of Xtrackers Core ETFs and unveiled a Europe ex-UK ETF ahead of Brexit.

The products have exposure to large and mid-cap firms across European markets (apart from the UK) with an underlying index of 379 companies. Its annual all-in fee is 0.09%.

Sky Harbor Capital Management

The US-based, women-led independent investment manager revealed a short maturity ESG US high yield strategy and Ucits fund in response to the high demand for sustainability-focused fixed income and values-based investment opportunities.

The fund is focused on minimising environmental degradation, promoting diversity, transparency and sustainable leadership.

Investec AM

After demands from its investors for a bigger push towards companies making a positive contribution to the environment and society, as well as strong financial returns, Investec AM opened the Investec UK Sustainable Equity Fund.

It offers a diversified and differentiated investment strategy focusing on the impact and engagement for the long-term. It aims to provide a 3% outperformance of the FTSE All Share index per annum over a full market cycle.

RWC

Investment firm RWC Partners rolled out a Next Generation Emerging Market Fund after increasing interest from its investors. The product is designed to provide investors with opportunities to enter the emerging market and frontier market landscape, as the firms claims they are “underrepresented by current indices and funds”.

Vanguard Asset Management

The asset manager has expanded its portfolio range by entering the Bel Paese with the listing of equity and fixed income ETFs on the Borsa Italiana. Vanguard AM aims to simplify and lower the cost of investing with this move; but also provide a diversified, balanced and long-term investment solution to its clients.

Zurich

The platform provider has announced the opening of a junior Isa and pension offering for under-17s. Parents and guardians will be able to open a junior Isa on behalf of a child, which anyone can pay in to.

The maximum amount that can be paid in the junior Isa is set at £4,260 ($5,577; €4,919) a year; while the junior retirement account is available for under-18s and allows anyone to pay up to £2,880 a year (£3,600 after a 20% tax relief).

Ping An AM

The asset manager’s Hong Kong unit has rolled out four thematic and smart-beta ETFs, on top of the four unveiled in 2018.

The company is mainly looking into ESG, especially after a growing demand for Chinese green bonds from foreign investors. It is also looking to include more third-party clients.

VitalityInvest

The insurance company that rewards people for healthy living has opened a fund range for healthier investment in structured products for investors with medium-risk appetite.

The firm is also offering a limited special offer on its Health Living Discount that could reduce product charges to 0%.

Crux AM

The employee-owned investment management business has established a directly-invested Luxembourg vehicle for Brexit.

The Crux European Special Situations feeder fund is a replica of the onshore fund but cash positions will most likely vary due to the different currencies and flow dynamics.
