Our panel of expert judges picked The Fry Group as the Global Adviser Firm of the Year having deliberated over all the entries for the regional best practice adviser awards held around the world over the last six months.
These awards, in partnership with Old Mutual International, recognise those financial advisers within the industry that are, or have made, transitions towards best practice in key areas of their business.
Chartered financial planning firm
With 10 chartered financial planners spread across five offices in the UK, and further offices in Belgium, Spain, Singapore and Hong Kong where many of the advisers have the certified financial planner or chartered qualification, The Fry Group is well positioned to navigate the big changes going on in the industry.
Our judges felt The Fry Group consistently impresses in all the regions it operates in, with a commitment to ensuring every customer receives advice and service appropriate to them, thus setting it apart from its competitors.
They also noted how it had achieved impressive growth over the last year and a highly active forward-looking business strategy.
High standards
After hearing from International Adviser that his firm had won the award, Jeremy Woodley, sales and marketing director of The Fry Group, said: “I am absolutely delighted that International Adviser has presented us with this reward. I think it is a reflection of the true professionalism demonstrated by our team of advisers and shows recognition for maintaining our high standards and integrity throughout our global operations.
“We continue to strive for our advisers to be professionally qualified and are proud to be a Chartered Financial Planning Firm in the UK, where 60% of our advisers have already achieved chartered status. We have also encouraged the same level of qualifications overseas, and now have Chartered and Certified Financial Planners across our offices globally.”
Woodley added: “We are looking forward to our 120th anniversary next year with huge optimism for increasing our team of advisers, potentially expanding our branches, and extending our investment proposition, whilst raising even more awareness of our unique proposition and level of professionalism around the world.”
Peter Kenny, managing director of Old Mutual International, said: “We are proud to be sponsoring the International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards again this year. We are delighted to see the increased interest the awards have received after two years running. Changes are still at the forefront of the international adviser industry and 2018 will be a pivotal year. As a provider, we have a part to play to ensure advisers are prepared for the upcoming regulatory changes impacting our industry.”
