Alban de Mailly Nesle has been named group chief risk officer, replacing Jean Christophe Ménioux, who succeeds Fabian Rupprecht as chief operating officer of Axa Global Life and Savings.
Rupprecht, in turn, replaces de Mailly Nesle as chief financial officer of the company’s Mediterranean and Latin American regions.
The appointments take effect on 1 Sept.
Denis Duverne, deputy chief executive officer of Axa, congratulated the three executives on their promotions.
De Mailly Nesle first joined the Axa Group in 2000 in its corporate finance department, before being named CFO in 2010. He began his career at BNP Paribas where he held several positions in corporate banking and corporate finance.
Ménioux came to Axa Group in 2001 as group treasurer. He took on the role of group chief risk officer in 2008. He began his career at HSBC France.
Rupprecht joined the Axa Group in 1994 and worked for the company in the US, Germany and Switzerland before he was appointed COO of Global Life and Savings in Paris in 2010.
