Barclays Private Clients Int’l appoints new chairman

Barclays Private Clients International has appointed Andrew Corlett as its new chairman.

As chairman Corlett, who is also managing director of legal and professional services group, Cains, will be responsible for managing the Isle of Man-based bank’s relationships with a wide range of international and external stakeholders in the UK, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. This will include relationships with key political and regulatory figures.

He replaces current chairman Larry Keenan.

BPCI Isle of Man managing director Greg Ellison said: “Andrew’s appointment completes a period of transition for our business in which we have appointed three members of our senior management as executive directors.

"This will improve the scope of knowledge and experience available to us as we successfully steer the business into the future.”
