Coady resigned on the 2 December with immediate effect.
A deVere spokesman told International Adviser: “He has decided to step down to pursue other career objectives. After many years of service with the company, we wish him all the best for his future ventures.
“2017 promises to be an exciting year for deVere United Kingdom and we look forward to announcing ambitious plans for our UK division very shortly.”
His successor will be announced in due course.
Coady joined deVere 12 years ago, working in the Gulf region, before becoming the head of western Europe, and most recently leading the Group’s expansion in the UK.
Peter Hobbs, deVere Group chairman, said: “Mike Coady has made an extraordinary contribution to the deVere Group during his 12-year service, and the board is grateful to him for the tremendous effort he has made during his time with the organisation.
“We thank him for his leadership, commitment and focus over the years and in wishing him all the best for the future.”
Coady said: “It has been a privilege to work within deVere, lead some of its key divisions, and to serve its clients in several roles. What we have accomplished over the last 12 years has been achieved because of the dedication and passion we shared. deVere faces an exciting, confident future in a competitive and dynamic sector.
“I will be confirming my next career steps in the near future,” Coady said.
