Tschiderer has been with the BNP Paribas Group for over 10 years and started his career in business development and portfolio management in Paris and Hong Kong.

His replacement has been named as Mandy Liu, formerly of Schroders Investment Management where she was responsible for the private banks distribution business in Hong Kong.

She has been charged by BNP Paribas IP with delivering a full suite of services and fund products to third party intermediaries across North Asia; including banks, private banks, and insurance companies.

Tino Moorrees, head of Asia sales at BNP Paribas IP, commented: “As we continue to expand and consolidate BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ offerings in the region’s private wealth business, particularly in the multi asset solutions space, these appointments are part of our broader objective to bolster the franchise’s footprint in Asia Pacific across fund and advisory offerings for our clients.”

As of 30 June 2015, BNP Paribas IP reported assets under management and advice of E532bn (£372.9bn, $565.2bn).
