The commonwealth meeting runs concurrently with the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group annual meetings, forming the largest annual gathering of the world’s finance ministers.
As well as continuing Jersey’s ongoing association with commonwealth affairs, Ozouf will meet with the Japanese Ministry of Finance and the British Ambassador to Japan.
Ozouf said: “The opportunity of being in Tokyo furthers our aim of securing growth by developing relations with the world’s major economies. I will be taking advantage of my visit to pursue a full calendar of meetings with government and commercial contacts.”
